About Jane                        

 

Jane Watson (formerly Jane K. Cheng, Esquire) concentrates her practice in the area of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, custody, and support matters. She is sensitive to the difficulties resulting from family issues and works diligently to resolve her clients' legal issues as efficiently and amicably as possible through negotiated settlements. While Jane's goal is to settle disputes, she is ready to advocate on behalf of her clients in the courtroom when litigation is necessary.

She is an active member of the Delaware County Bar Association and has served two terms as Treasurer of the Young Lawyers' Section. She has also served as Co-Chair of the Lunch and Learn Committee for the Delaware County Bar Association's Family Law Section. Jane is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has published several Case Notes in the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer.

Jane graduated with the inaugural class of Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law and received a Bachelor of Music from Temple University. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Jane resides in Springfield Township with her husband, son, and a menagerie of pets. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and photography, and is the organist for Christ United Methodist Church. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
